Burns, TN - Charles Wayne Cavender, age 79, of Burns, TN passed away on January 20, 2026. His wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date. Place of rest will be in the Richardson Cemetery in Burns.
Born in Burns, TN on February 4, 1946, he was the son of the late George H. Cavender and Estelle Bishop Cavender, and was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Charles had worked in construction and at Montgomery Bell State Park in ground maintenance.
He is survived by one daughter, one sister and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to thank Charles's neighbors in Burns for providing support and help when needed.
