Burns, TN - Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Stevens officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Parker-Fowlkes Cemetery.


Joy Angieline Massie, age 83 of Burns, TN, passed from this life on February 9, 2026. She was born on May 1, 1942, in Dickson County to the late Wendell Darrel Clark and Annie Lee Martin Clark. Joy was a longtime member of the Oak Avenue Church of Christ.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles O'Neal Massie.


Survivors include her children: Susie Adams (Keith) of Toney, AL, Anthony Massie of Burns, Richard Massie (Sharon) of Dickson, Kenneth McCollom (Wilma) of Mississippi, and Robert McCollom (Susan) of Burns. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
