Charlotte, TN - Funeral services were conducted Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest was in the Worke Family Farm Cemetery. Visitation with the family was Friday, January 16th from 4 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 12 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Woman are Safe Inc.
Martha "Marti" Gerber, age 72 of Charlotte, TN, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026. She was the daughter of the late James Cleborne and Sue Lewis Worke and was preceded in death by her brother, David Mynatt; her sister, Laura Anderson; her grandson, David Gerber; her best friend, Ida Sue Westerman, who she loved spending time with and going places.
Marti had worked in Retail. She was a member of the Charlotte Fagan Community Church.
Survivors include her son, Max Gerber (Haley) of Charlotte, TN; daughter, Bonni McCliss (Jeff) of Charlotte, TN; four grandchildren, Madelynn Gerber, Julia Gerber, Cody McCliss and Natalie McCliss.
