Dickson, TN - Owen Cook passed away December 7, 2025, at 88 years old. His wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Owen is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Jeanne Cook. He was born July 20, 1937, to the late Maston and Grace Cook of Calloway County Kentucky. Owen and Jeanne married August 4th, 1956, and spent their early years living in Kentucky, Michigan, and Georgia before finally settling in Dickson, Tennessee in 1972. Owen served a two-year stint in the army soon after he married. Ultimately, he retired from the Xerox Corporation after 30 years of service. He spent his retirement years working for Vestal Enterprises as a handyman.

Known as Pop to many, he was loved for his quick wit, determination, and faithfulness. Owen was a man of high integrity that loved his family, Jesus, and working outdoors. He spent latter years teaching Sunday school on and off, working on his land, and helping family.

Owen and Jeanne are survived by their five sons, David, Dan, Jamie, Tim, and Mark along with nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
